Suryadatta is a prince of the Kekeya realm, fourth among the five sons of Dhrishtaketu king of Kekeya and Shrutakirti — daughter of Shurasena the Yadava chieftain and sister of Vasudeva the father of Krishna. He is named at Udyoga Parva chapter 172 as the fourth of the five Kekeya brothers who allied with the Pandavas. He fought throughout the Kurukshetra War as part of the combined Kekaya fraternal unit.
